Tried special Chicken soup, caldo de pollo, and steak juice soup special, carne en su jugo....with a medium hibiscus drink, aquarium de Jamaica. Chicken soup came with tortillas, jalapeño cilantro onions lime and dried chili peppers for your soup and a side of rice....9.99.... Soup was excellent, especially on a freezing cold night. Steak soup smelled and tasted amazing....came w tortillas lime and jalapeño onion cilantro mix. Forgot the price special but was maybe 10.99.... Drink was 2.50 for a medium. Sauces were a tomatillo and roasted red pepper sauce....latter was excellent. Prices are amazing. They're known for their soups. Very nice people. No extra credit card fees. Straightforward.... My first time here and will be back. Phone was ringing off the hook for orders.

Love picking up food here! The Al pastor is my favorite, but great chorizo and carne asada, too. Don't forget to get at churro, so far my favorite in the city. Vanilla filled is the best!

This place is a no frills authentic hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. I got the birria taco special and horchata and neither disappointed. Great food at a great price. My boyfriend enjoyed his 3-taco plate with beans and rice as well. Love their hot and verde sauces at the table.

New favorite north side taqueria!! Rest tacqueria on Belmont, about 3-4 blocks west of the blue line. This place is the real deal. I went with two chili relleno tacos on flour tortillas. I went with flour because the chilli rellenos are large and stuffed with chihuahua cheese. . The carne asada tacos was also very good. Definitely want to go back and try the chilaquiles. Even the chips and salsa they bring to the table are solid. You can tell they use fried chilis to make the salsa and it's not watery at all. Just a great all around place.

Your perfect late night taco spot. The portions are always generous and the steak meat is very tender. Plus my orders still HOT by the time I pick it up and take it home.

Tricky to get to but worth the effort! Their salsas are very good and their quesabirria tacos may be the best ones I've ever had. Super flavorful and tender. Didn't even really need the consume, which was fantastic too!

First off it's BYOB! Street parking is tricky and you can't park next door at the 7/11 parking lot unless you want to get booted. Now that is out of the way. Authentic Mexican food at a great price. Quick service! The restaurant is small and always packed but oh my goodness the food is really good! Try the ribeye and onions the meat is so tender and the rice and beans are bomb. Just go and thank me later.
